Firefighter owned · family operated

You always know whose hands are on it.Tyler's story — Elite Auto Spa, San Tan Valley Arizona

Tyler Hanson spent his career as a firefighter before opening the shop, and came into this trade through the body shop world rather than through detailing. He works alongside his son, and between them they handle every vehicle that comes in.

Where the knowledge came from

Body shop first, detailing second

Most people in this trade come from detailing. Tyler came from the body shop world, where he learned paint properly — how it's laid down, how thick the clear coat is, what happens underneath when a panel gets worked. That's a different kind of knowledge from learning which polish makes a car shine.

It's the reason we gauge paint thickness on every panel before touching anything, and the reason we'll tell you when a panel has been polished too thin to correct safely. Someone who only knows the surface has no way to know that.

In Tyler's words

Why the shop exists

"I believe in transparency and integrity above everything else. My mission is simple — give back in every way I can while delivering work that actually matters."

"I got tired of watching big shops charge premium prices for mediocre results, so I decided to do something about it. My background comes from the body shop world, where I learned paint inside and out — not just surface-level detailing knowledge."

"This isn't a side hustle. This is my passion, and I approach every vehicle with the same dedication whether you drive a Honda or a Lamborghini. No egos here, just honest work."

— Tyler Hanson, owner

Once a firefighter

The giving back part isn't marketing.

Tyler developed Front Line Chemicals — a professional car care line — and 911 Shine now sits in every Pinal County Sheriff's patrol car and motorcycle. Donated, not sold. A portion of proceeds from every product goes to Arizona K-9 units.

Customers find that out on their own. One of them wrote in a Google review: "Here is a fact that Tyler does not publicize — at his own cost he developed a professional line of car care products called 911, and all sale proceeds are donated to K9 support."

What a family shop actually gets you

Tyler is on every job, with his son working alongside him. Small enough that you know exactly who worked on your vehicle, and that the person who quoted it is the person who did it.

The same hands every time

Your vehicle doesn't get whoever was free that afternoon, and there's no rotating cast of technicians. Same people, same standard, whether it's a Civic or a Prevost coach.

Nobody's rushing to the next job

Appointment only, and we deliberately don't take on volume. A full detail takes four to six hours because that's what it takes, not because there's a slot to fill.

The person quoting is the person working

No estimator handing your job down to a technician who wasn't in the conversation. Tyler assesses it, quotes it and works on it — so nothing gets promised that can't be delivered.

Honest answers cost us work

If a coating won't do what you're hoping, or the cheaper option is right for your vehicle, you'll hear that. We'd rather lose the sale than have you disappointed later.

What customers say about him

Usually by name

"The reason Elite Auto Spa is a consistently 5-star reviewed business is simple — Tyler is that good. No upsell, no gimmicks, no shortcuts on services provided."

S. Leonard

"Tyler provided great service as a professional and on my vehicle. He's extremely detailed and shows a huge interest in doing the job extremely well for the customer. I would use his service again!!!"

Steve Hall

"Besides being incredibly knowledgeable and talented, Tyler is a first responder, revealing a lot about this man's character. He was patient and talked to my limited level of understanding."

Given Tyler's background this was never going to be a marketing tactic. There's no fixed number because every job is different — but if you serve, have served, or you're a senior, you'll be taken care of. Mention it when you get in touch.
